With season 6 of Game of Thrones just weeks away from its premiere, fans are getting increasingly impatient about whether the death of Jon Snow was real or just an act. Kit Harington, who plays the Lord Commander of Westeros' Night Watch, recently appeared on Jonathan Ross' show to talk about the HBO show and explain why he was on set -- and Ross tries to see through his lies!

Appearing on The Jonathan Ross Show last Saturday, Harington was asked, once again, the question that has haunted the world for the past year: is Jon Snow really, really dead? Unsatisfied with the actor's continued answer that the Stark bastard really did die For the Watch, Ross performed the test everyone has wanted to do: he put him through a lie detector test!

The lie detector, shaped like the Roman sculpture of the Mouth of Truth, gave Harington electrical shocks whenever Ross wasn't satisfied with his answer. Still, Harington stuck to his story throughout, insisting Snow was still dead and he only plays a corpse during season 6, which Ross was obviously not buying.

The actor also mentioned he didn't know if there was any nudity during the season (it's Game of Thrones, so yes, of course there will be nudity) and said Snow would definitely not come back as a White Walker.

Aside from his time in the lie detector, Harington explained a little bit further how he was no longer involved in the show and wasn't told what was going on in the storylines.

"I am no longer involved in the show so any secrets that are with the show I don't actually know anymore, so it becomes very easy, Jonathan," Harington said, according to Radio Times. "You're looking at me like you don't believe me. It's going to be so relieving when people actually see the show and realize that I don't come back."

We'll know what's really going on in The Wall on April 24, when Game of Thrones returns to HBO.
