Zack Snyder and Henry Cavill Talking About ANOTHER Possible 'Superman' Solo Film? [SPOILER]

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice shocked viewers with its concluding battle battle. Nevertheless, the future of Superman doesn't seem to faze director Zack Snyder, who is already interested in working on Man of Steel 2!

Snyder recently spoke to IGN, where he confirmed that he would want to do another film about the DC superhero.

"I think if we could get a good script, it'd be great to have a standalone Superman movie," Snyder stated, adding that it seems like a good idea. "I think that would be fun to do."

Henry Cavill agrees with the director but added that it would be possible if Dawn of Justice is well-received.

"I do believe it depends upon the success of [BvS]," he said before explaining the studio still has a lot of projects to deal with.

"If this goes well, then we can start negotiating with Warner Bros. to develop a standalone Superman, but they've got their plans set out for other stuff and Justice Leagues and various other movies, so it's about finding the time really," Cavill said.

But is the current Superman willing to reprise his role?

"It's something I'd be very keen to do," Cavill admitted.

Snyder and Cavill aren't the only ones who are eager to work on yet another Superman film. BvS producer Charles Roven also addressed the possibility of Man of Steel 2.

"We're in the process of looking at that, but we don't have it on the schedule at the moment because we're quite busy with the movies we have scheduled," he said.

While the idea of seeing Cavill slip back into his blue tights and red cape would be a welcome sight for fans, there is one little thing that the studio might have a problem with: Man of Steel was killed off by Doomsday, although comic book readers probably already knew what was coming the moment Lex Luthor's creation appeared in the film's trailer.
