There is a lot of discussion about what happened in the sixteenth episode of The Walking Dead Season 6, with most fans trying to figure out whose point of view they were seeing at the last moments of "Last Day on Earth." Now Norman Reedus has spoken up about the shocking cliffhanger finale and even commented on whether it was Daryl Dixon who got killed by Negan!

Reedus was recently on The Today Show, where he addressed the TWD Season 6 ending.

"Cliffhangers have been happening since the beginning of entertainment, so they make sense," Reedus stated before hinting that he is aware of who it was that Negan chose to kill.

"I know what happens and it's gut-wrenching to me," he admitted.

We all know that Jeffrey Dean Morgan finally made his debut as Negan and played a nerve-wrecking game of "eenie meenie miney moe" with Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group. But was it Daryl who got bludgeoned to death in the season finale?

"I can't tell you that!" Reedus exclaimed.

Although the Air star is keeping quiet about Negan's victim, he was happy to discuss what "Last Day on Earth" wanted to imply.

"That finale was about the change of power," Reedus said, explaining that The Walking Dead handles survival on a different level.

"I think sometimes people think our show is survivor island... and 'Who's gonna eat it this week?' but it's not, and that episode was to show the change of power," he said, adding that Lincoln's character was the one who realized he wasn't in control.

"Rick goes into that episode real confident and he comes out of it just completely broken," Reedus concluded.

The Walking Dead Season 6 will be available on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD on August 23 while the seventh season is expected to debut on AMC in October.
