Beatrice Miller, ‘X Factor’: Teen Signs Record Deal with Hollywood/Syco Records, Twitter Fans Proud & Excited for Bea’s Upcoming Album

"Beasts are proud of Bea" became a trend on Twitter yesterday, as the news that the 'X Factor USA' teen favorite, Beatrice Miller, signed a record deal with Hollywood/Syco Records was released.

The talented 14-year-old 'X Factor' season two finalist from Maplewood, New Jersey reportedly became the first singer to sign with the Hollywood/Syco Records collaborative label arrangement, states The Hollywood Reporter.

The announcement was made on Thursday by by Ken Bunt, President of Disney Music Group and Phil McIntyre, Head of Syco Music North America, SYCO USA:

"Syco, along with the creators of The X Factor franchise, have cultivated some of the industry's leading talent. We are thrilled about the opportunity to contribute the unique resources we have at Hollywood Records and Disney to showcase Beatrice's incredible talent," said Blunt in a PR Newswire statement.

McIntyre added, "We're incredibly excited to join forces with Hollywood Records. Our combined resources and various platforms will enable Beatrice to take full advantage of her unique talent. This is a great first step in what we hope is a long and valuable partnership between Syco Entertainment and Hollywood Records."

Young Beatrice was mentored by pop icon Briney Spears on this past season of 'X Factor USA' after she was chosen as one of the final four "teens," along with Carly Rose Sonenclar, Diamond White, & Arin Ray, on Simon Cowell's reality singing competition featured on FOX. Miller, her fans, and even the 'X Factor' franchise have shown excitement for the spunky singer/actress's upcoming album.

The 'X Factor (USA)' Twitter handle tweeted on Thursday:

"Congrats, @BeatriceMiller! Can't wait to hear what's next from you... we know it will be unique and rad, because that's how you roll!"

In response to the many congratulatory tweets, Beatrice responded:

"THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH I'M GONNA GET IN THE STUDIO TO GET AN ALBUM OUT AS SOON AS I CAN YAY"

The then 13-year old Miller made it to Week 4 of the singing competition, which was ultimately won by country singer Tate Stevens, while Bea took 9^th place overall. She was voted off the show after performing 'Chasing Cars' by Snow Patrol, a song that she dedicated to her adopted twin sisters on the Thanksgiving day episode.

On the November 22 results show, Miller was not so 'thankful' to find herself in the bottom 2 next to CeCe Frey, a contestant from the "young adult" category. It was America's vote that placed Beatrice there, but singing a shaky rendition (due to a ruptured vocal cord) of "White Flag" by Dido as her "survival song," sealed her fate when the judges chose to save CeCe instead. Beatrice left the 'X Factor' stage in tears when she was eliminated by judges Britney Spears, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, & LA Reid in a 3-1 vote. The final decision came down to Simon, who explained that he felt that the competition was becoming "too much" for Beatrice and therefore decided to send her home.

Miller will now have the opportunity to work with the very judge who decided to eliminate her from the 'X Factor' competition, as Syco Entertainment is a joint venture between Simon Cowell and Sony Music (which has now teamed up with Disney's Hollywood Records to sign their first artist).
