Fans may have been initially skeptical about the casting of Tom Holland as Peter Parker in the Spider-Man reboot, but times have certainly changed! The new webslinger has turned into one of the most anticipated characters in Captain America: Civil War and it looks like Holland will be getting plenty of screentime in the upcoming Marvel flick!

Some lucky critics have been given the chance to review Civil War and most of the responses have been extremely positive. Although there were no actual spoilers released about the film, ScreenCrush Editor-in-Chief Mike Sampson did confirm that Civil War will feature more of Spidey than anyone has initially anticipated.

Sampson recently answered a few fan queries on Twitter, including one asking if it is true that Holland will be getting thirty minutes of screentime. The reported broke down just how much time Peter and Spider-Man himself will be featured in Civil War.

It certainly sounds like Marvel is making the most of their agreement with Sony on Holland's appearance in Civil War. There is a possibility that the Impossible star will initially be seen as Peter in an early interaction with Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark before jumping into action as Spider-Man.

In addition to that, Sampson also teased that Spider-Man will be the scene-stealer in the fight between Team Captain America and Team Iron Man. Although this has already been hinted upon in the second Civil War trailer, is it possible that the webslinger is Tony's secret weapon in the battle against Steve Rogers (Chris Evans)?

Captain America: Civil War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and also stars Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Chadwick Boseman as well as Paul Rudd. The film will hit theaters on May 6.
