Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice may have ended with the death of the Man of Steel, but it looks like there is a possibility that Kal-El could still make an appearance in the two-part Justice League movies! With only a few days before the first JL film starts principal photography, Ray Fisher, who will play Cyborg in the future DC Extended Universe flicks, has just shared a photo on Instagram featuring costars Jason Momoa and ... Henry Cavill?

Fisher, who had a brief cameo in Batman v Superman as Victor Stone, posted the Instagram picture with the caption, "Chilling with some of The League." The young actor also tagged Momoa and Cavill's Instagram accounts before adding the hashtags #BORGLIFE, #batmanvsuperman and #justiceleague.

Although it was perfectly clear in BvS that Superman was killed by Doomsday and was even honored with two separate burials, it looks like DCEU isn't quite ready to let go of the superhero. After all, the Justice League just doesn't seem right without the DC Big Three. But just how is Justice League supposed to explain the return of Superman after he has been killed off by director Zack Snyder?

There are so many possibilities. There could be a Red Priestess nearby who can make a blood sacrifice and resurrect Superman. Or maybe Kal-El was hiding under the dumpster this whole time. Maybe someone will decide to toss him into the Lazarus Pit or perhaps Superman has simply faked his death so he can return to wreak havoc in Starling City, er, Metropolis.

But if he really is dead, Superman can always come back as a Force Ghost to guide his apprentices Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Batman (Ben Affleck) in assembling the Justice League.

The first Justice League film is scheduled for release on November 17, 2017.
