It's been less than a month since Daredevil premiered its second season, but with all that's happening with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it's no surprise fans are getting increasingly interested in seeing all superheroes come together, but how possible is that? Charlie Cox recently talked about whether Daredevil will be joining the likes of Iron Man and Hulk -- but you may not like his answer.

According to TV3, Cox recently spoke on whether the street-level superheroes and the bigger ones would be teaming up any time soon, and there doesn't seem to be a lot of hope on that regard.

"There was no conversation about joining any of the movies," said the 33-year-old, adding that he'd welcome the opportunity to join a team with the likes of Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans. "Who wouldn't want to be in the highest-grossing film of all time?"

Cox's contract with Marvel does include the possibility of taking the character to the big screen, but so far he hasn't been reached to fit into any of the films -- and yes, that unfortunately includes this year's showdown Captain America: Civil War, where the Earth's mightiest heroes face each other over regulations.

Earlier this week, Comic Book spoke to Civil War screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and they were asked why the Netflix superheroes weren't included in the film. The reason? Well, they hadn't actually been introduced to the MCU at the time they were writing, so it didn't seem plausible.

Still, Civil War brings in two major superheroes for the first time in the MCU: Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, and Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland. Considering the growing number of superpowered people around these movies, it's tough to know if the TV heroes will unite at some point -- even if it's just because of how crowded this universe could end up being.

There are also superheroes (the Inhumans) in ABC's Agents of SHIELD, which is also set in the MCU, though this race will get its own standalone movie in 2019.
