In Avengers: Infinity War, Will Tom Hiddleston/Loki Fight Benedict Cumberbatch/Doctor Strange?

The world is definitely excited over the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick Doctor Strange, which will finally introduce Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme. However, Thor: Ragnarok star Tom Hiddleston seems more interested in finding out if his character Loki can take on Stephen Strange in a future Marvel movie, Avenges: Infinity War!

Hiddleston recently spoke to New York Daily News, where he pondered upon the possibilities if the Asgardian meets Cumberbatch's Strange.

"In some hypothetical world, I don't quite know when, for Loki and Dr. Strange to share the same frame would be very exciting indeed," Hiddleston stated, adding that he has known Cumberbatch for some time. In addition to that, the Crimson Peak actor wants to know if his character would win against the Sorcerer Supreme.

"Benedict Cumberbatch is an old friend, so I would think it would be interesting to see who would get the upper hand," he said.

But would Hiddleston return in more MCU movies? The I Saw The Light star wouldn't confirm anything.

"Truthfully, I do actually know at the moment how many more times I'm going to play Loki, but I'm not going to tell you," he said before stating that he's keeping the secret for the fans.

"It's not personal," Hiddleston confirmed. "It's just keeping it fresh for all paying customers to enjoy their films."

So what would happen when Hiddleston and Cumberbatch work together on a Marvel flick? The Kong: Skull Island actor teased that it would be loads of fun.

"We would probably just be comparing costumes," Hiddleston mused, adding that he has had plenty of experience with how strange the situation would be while filming.

"That's what happens on set, is just everyone starts laughing at each other because the costumes are so extreme," he shared. "You're standing there with the crew, everyone holding Styrofoam cups of coffee and everyone is wearing very brightly colored leather, that's highly entertaining."

There is still a possibility that Loki and Doctor Strange will meet in Avengers: Infinity War, but who would win in a fight? Fans will have to wait until 2018 to find out.

Doctor Strange will premiere on November 4 and Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled for theater release on November 2017.
