The two sides of Captain America: Civil War may have been clearly revealed in the film's trailers, but fans can't help but wonder if other Marvel characters would choose to stick with Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) or Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). However, Thor: Ragnarok star Tom Hiddleston reveals that his iconic character Loki is on a completely different side.

"He's clearly on Team Loki," Hiddleston told Yahoo! with a laugh before adding that the character would enjoy watching his enemies fight each other.

"They were all fairly unkind to him in The Avengers, so I'm not sure he would be taking sides," he said. "I think he would be sitting on a rooftop somewhere enjoying the fact that the children are squabbling, going, 'Ah! This is entertaining!'"

"Fairly unkind" might be putting it mildly, since Loki had an embarrassing encounter with The Hulk in the first Avengers film. After tossing him around violently, the Big Guy actually called Loki a "puny god."

But is it possible to see a similar incident in Ragnarok? Hiddleston has already been confirmed to reprise his role as Loki in the third Thor film, which will also star Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner.

Although he might not be eager to get tossed around the second time around, Hiddleston admitted that he is looking forward to working with Chris Hemsworth once again and hinted that this might be Loki's final film.

"Thor 3 will be cool because I've not done it for four years," he told The Daily Beast. "I love working with Chris. This will be my last time out of the gate."

So does this mean that Loki will not be a part of the two-part Marvel flick Avengers: Infinity War?

"I don't know!" Hiddleston declared. "Honestly, I don't know."

In addition to that, the I Saw The Light actor revealed that the final Infinity War lineup might not yet be in place.

"They haven't got their ducks in a row yet," he said. "They make it up as they go along."

Captain America: Civil War crashes into theaters on May 6 while Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled for release on November 3, 2017.
