During Will Ferrell's "Comedic Genius" acceptance speech at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (April 14), "Parks and Recreation" starlet Aubrey Plaza stormed the stage in a rather bizarre yet amusing attempt at "crashing" Ferrell's limelight. Plaza looked a tad bit disoriented (or shall we say drunk) as she ran up onstage, tried to grab Ferrell's golden popcorn trophy, then return to her seat only to spill her alcoholic beverage everywhere. The awkward 28-year-old actress was promptly ejected from the award show venue - she later hit up Twitter to "thank" Kanye West for his inspiration (a la the rapper's Taylor Swift diss at the 2009 VMAs).

The show went on without any more hitches, although Plaza later wrote on Twitter:

@evilhag: "thanks for the advice @kanyewest went better than planned! #mtvmovieawards #chrisbosh #thesecret."

What do fans think about that?

Ferrell later joked about the incident, telling MTV backstage, "It was just a lot of hot liquor breath and a little bit of sweat" -
