Classic western The Magnificent Seven, itself a remake of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, is getting its own modernized take this 2016 year -- and the first trailer for the upcoming cowboy movie has arrived! On it, Hollywood legend Denzel Washington steps on Yul Brynner's shoes for an amazing look -- and he's joined by some of Hollywood's finest!

The film's producing company Sony Pictures released the film's first teaser trailer through their YouTube channel this Wednesday, and so far the film looks as exciting as one would think from its all-star cast.

While we get glimpses of some of the actors in the film's very impressive cast, the new footage is all about Oscar-winning Washington strolling around the Old West --- with a little help from cool and suave Chris Pratt!

The film's all-star cast also includes Peter Sarsgaard, Ethan Hawke, Vincent D'Onofrio and Matt Bomer, all of who are under the direction of Antoine Fuqua, the man who helped Washington gain his second Academy Award with 2001's Training Day, which also co-starred Hawke.

The original film's cast was just as impressive: aside from Brynner, other stars included Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, James Coburn and Eli Wallach. The film is part of MGM's classics library, and the major studio co-produces the remake with Sony.

"With the town of Rose Creek under the deadly control of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), the desperate townspeople employ protection from seven outlaws, bounty hunters, gamblers and hired guns -- Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D'Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier)," reads the film's synopsis, via Deadline. "As they prepare the town for the violent showdown that they know is coming, these seven mercenaries find themselves fighting for more than money."

Fuqua's new Magnificent Seven version will hit theaters on September 23.
