DJ Afrojack, born Nick van de Wall, has collaborated with notable artists like David Guetta, Ne-Yo, Steve Aoki, and most recently Chris Brown to "jack" out his hit singles like he and C-Breezy's "As Your Friend" dance track, which will appear on Afrojack's is new album, dropping in September.

Recently, the Dutch music producer has recruited a new and seemingly unlikely "friend" to work with on his upcoming record: former 'The Police' frontman Sting! This news was learned when a teaser photo of Afrojack and Sting in the studio together was posted to Afrojack.com on April 10th. The surprising picture was uploaded onto the DJ's website with the caption: "That's all we can say for now...stay tuned!"

On the same day, the Netherlands native also tweeted (in response to the same photo tweeted by Sting's twitter handle): "@OfficialSting @MKCherryBoom its gonna be a blast!"

A few days have passed since the revelation, but neither Afrojack nor Sting has released any further details surrounding this new possible collaboration between "Fields of Gold" singer and the "Take Over Control" spinner.

In other Afrojack news, on April 12th the DJ composed a tweet, accompanied by some vague hashtags, letting fans know that they can expect the Grammy winner's debut album to be released in September of this year:

"SEPTEMBER2013 = #AFROJACKALBUM #JACKEDGT #AFROBDAY"

He also announced that he will be "doing a Europe Tour in July/August (Spain,France,Ibiza,Italy,Switzerland,Germany,Belgium,Greece and more)."

Afrojack, who recently signed a worldwide deal with Island Records and Universal Music Group (as Mstars previously reported) can't be stopped! In addition to working in the studio, apparently with artists like Sting, to finish up his new album and touring with his current 'JACKED' tour, the DJ will also be spinning beats at the highly anticipated Electric Daisy Carnival in May.

"Stay tuned" for more news on the 'Stinjack' (Sting & Afrojack) collaboration!
