As the world tries to get over the death of Prince, his ex-wife, Mayte Garcia is still trying to cope with two losses. Prince's first wife "never recovered" from the death of her son and is now speaking out about losing the love of her life and claims that the legendary singer is with their baby boy now.

Garcia posted a flashback photo of her former lover and herself during good times and admitted that she was shocked about the death of Prince. "I can't even think of the words of what I'm feeling. This man was my everything, we had a family. I am beyond deeply saddened and devastated," she said. "I loved him then, I love him now, and will love him eternally ... He's with our son now."

A belly dancer, Garcia met Prince when she was a teenager. She was hired to perform during one of his tours. The two would tie the knot in 1996 and divorce in 2000.

Garcia talked a lot about her life with Prince during her time on Hollywood Exes. She still relived her past and couldn't get over the death of her baby boy she had with the singer. The couple's son, Boy Gregory, sadly passed away just one week after birth from Pfeiffer syndrome, which is a rare genetic disorder that affects the skull and bones in the hands and feet.

Garcia opened up about her struggles of having another child in her 40s during her time on the hit VH1 show.

According to Yahoo, Prince's dancer, Lindsley Allen claimed that Garcia and Prince couldn't move past the death of their son.

"It was really sad. I think he was really looking forward to being a father," Allen, who worked with Prince from 1992 - 1997 on The World In A Day tour, revealed. "It was very difficult for them and I don't think they really recovered from that. I felt a very paternal feeling from him but yet that was something that he never really had known."

After the world learned Prince died Thursday, Garcia canceled all of her schedule belly dance classes for the weekend. "My apologies to have to do this....thanks for understanding," she captioned the statement below.
