WGN America aired the first season finale of Outsiders. This is the perfect opportunity to check up on Big Foster (David Morse), Little Foster (Ryan Hurst), and G'Winn Farrell (Gillian Alexy) in Episode 11 through 13 as they try to defend their mountaintop homestead from the outside world.

As we previously mentioned, Outsiders takes place high in the vast Appalachian Mountains. The wild and criminal Farrell Clan is pitted against the outside world, which is even more corrupt than they are. The Farrell Clan have spent 200 years surviving on Shay Mountain. The Clan is up against a group of money-making investors and a small town looking to move them out as they expand. This close-knit family of anti-heroes has to protect themselves in order to preserve their way of life.

1) Insane In The Membrane!

In Mortar, Hasil (Kyle Gallner) and Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) are kicked out of their home and have to hike up the mountain. Asa (Joe Anderson) is the first to realize something is up with Big Foster as he starts hallucinating about his dead mother, Lady Ray (Phyllis Somerville). Big Foster starts shooting like a madman, blasting at nothing!

2) Best Fight Scene Ever!

All Hell is just about right for the title of this episode! It's an all-out fight between Asa and Big Foster. Edited to perfection, you have no idea if it's actually Anderson, Morse, or their stuntmen trading punches and doing flips.

3) He Can't Be Dead!

In the first season finale, Long Live the Bren'in, Asa shot Big Foster point-blank. Big Foster can't be dead! It could've been just a flesh wound! He just can't! The show needs a Big Bad! This isn't The Walking Dead!

2) What Happens Next!?!

In our MStars News interview, Christina Jackson promises questions will be answered In the sophomore season, "A lot of people are going to be upset! It is going to be a boiling point for the relationship. There is going to be a lot of questions. There are going to be a lot of people who are going to want some answers. People are going to be shocked by the finale and how things end. We have been renewed for a second season. I think that this season if people go back and watch it after it is done, it should tie them over until next year."

1) Long Live The Queen!

In our MStars News interview, Gillian Alexy reveals what she would like new ruler G'Winn to do in the sophomore season, "I would love to see more of G'Winn and her kind of truth. Not necessarily, telling others what to do. But like, getting her hands dirty, going out there, and riding the ATVs! Going into town! I think that would be fun!"

Outsiders will return to WGN America in January 2017.
