Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2 is all set to release on May 3, 2019. The fans of Avenger series might think that the time which production team is taking is pretty huge but the awaited movie is surely going to be a thrilling ride. There are many speculations have already started to make rounds over the internet and a recent revelation confirms that Marvel's Thanos is going to be the main villain in the upcoming movie.

In Marvel Comics, Thanos first appeared in Iron Man #55 in February 1973. Over the years the character has been featured in many comic books. Apart from that, Thanos has a cameo in 2012 Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy star Josh Brolin is going to reprise his role of Thanos in the upcoming two parts in the Infinity War series.

In an interview with Yahoo News, directors of Infinity War series, Anthony Russo and Joe Russo admitted that in the upcoming film, Thanos is goingto rise as the main villain.

"He is the worst and greatest threat that the universe has ever seen and the Avengers have ever seen. The most compelling part of Captain America: Civil War for us was leaving [the Avengers] in a very complicated place at the end of the movie because they are now about to face Thanos."

Joe further added that after the destructions that will be shown in Civil War, the Avengers will not be ready to face a villain who has unknown powers and Thanos fits that role perfectly.

Meanwhile, Infinity War will also feature Samuel L. Jackson in his role of Nick Fury. In a recent interview with Fandango, Jackson revealed that he is going to portray Fury in both the parts of Infinity War series. However, the Pulp Fiction actor stated that the fans are going to miss watching him in Captain America: Civil War.
