The makers of Pokemon XY & Z: Volcanion & The Tricky Magearna have recently released the third trailer for the upcoming Pokemon film and the trailer gives off interesting vibes. If recent updates are to be believed, the upcoming film in the Pokemon franchise is going to feature generation VI Pokemon.

Anime News Network reported that the upcoming Pokemon movie is going to feature Ash Ketchum, as he gets involved with Volcanion. However, in the trailer, it has shown that Volcanion has some trust issues when it comes to humans, so in the film, Ash has to really work hard in order to gain his trust.

Apart from showing Ash and Valcanion, the trailer also revealed the involvement of Zygarde. In the beginning, Zygarde's cell is shown hanging over Magearna, but in the end, it covers the entire world. Thus, it confirms that involvement of generation VI Pokemon in the upcoming film. Niche Gamer reported that the Magearna is a metallic, orb-like and bipedal Pokemon created by humans 500 years ago. It stands 3 feet and 3 inches tall and weighs around 177 pounds.

On the other hand, Volcanion is a fire/water Pokemon which was introduced in Generation VI. The Pokemon is described as a feline monster, who has cat-like attributes and highly resembles lions or tigers.

Ever since the debut of the anime adaptation of Satoshi Tajiri's Pokemon Games, Toho has produced the theatrical films based on the Pokemon franchise since 1998 in Japan. In total, five movies has been featured showing the original Pokemon anime and four movies has shown the advanced generation series of Pokemon.

Pokemon XY & Z: Volcanion and The Tricky Magearna is scheduled to release in July 16, 2016, although there has been no announcement from the Toho about their plans to release the film in North America.
