The sixth season of Game of Thrones premiered with plenty of shockers, from the near capture of Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) to the jaw-dropping revelation of Melisandre's (Carice van Houten) true appearance. However, the first Season 6 episode wouldn't be complete without the death of some important characters, which turned out to be Doran (Alexander Siddig) and Trystane Martell (Toby Sebastian). But what does Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma) plan to do now that she has control over Dorne?

In Season 5, Ellaria and the Sand Snakes failed to convince Doran to avenge the death of his brother Oberyn Martell (Pedro Pascual) and decided to seek vengeance on their own. Although it might seem enough that they successfully murdered Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free), it is revealed in "The Red Woman" that the act was only the beginning. Ellaria and Tyene (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) waste no time in killing Doran and his guard Areo Hotah (DeObia Oparei) while Nymeria (Jessica Henwick) and Obara (Keisha Castle-Hughes) eliminated Trystane. Now it looks like they have control of Dorne.

So what happens now? According to Comic Book, there is a huge possibility that Ellaria will commandeer the Dornish armies to attack Westeros and take their revenge on the Lannisters, who are responsible for the death of Oberyn. It certainly looks like more blood will be spilled, including that of the current King Tommen Baratheon (Dean-Charles Chapman).

But who could take over the Iron Throne once Tommen is gone? Ellaria certainly seems uninterested in ruling the Seven Kingdoms, but there is a speculation that Dorne might team up with a possible ruler. Some fans believe that Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) might end up uniting the Dothraki horde with the Dornish army to effectively cross into Westeros and finally take her place at the throne.

Will Daenerys and Ellaria work together to achieve their own personal goals? The truth could eventually be revealed in the sixth season of Game of Thrones, which airs on HBO every Sunday nights.
