The CW Network continues with Season 2 of The Flash. With the identity behind the super-villain Zoom (voiced by Tony Todd) revealed, will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) feel the "reign of terror" from his enemy, Hunter Solomon (Teddy Sears)?

In our previous recap, Caitlin revealed Jay's name was actually Hunter Zolomon, a serial killer turned metahuman back on Earth-2. Even though the scarlet speedster tried to trick Hunter, it was not enough to stop Zoom from stealing Barry's speed force. With Barry back as an average human being, Zoom kidnapped Caitlin and took her back to his world.

In our recent recap, Barry had to live his everyday life as a normal person, but that didn't mean his superhero days were over. With the crime rate rising in Central City, Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) was abducted by Griffen Grey. As the scarlet speedster recused Wells, Caitlin found herself face-to-face with her doppelgänger, Killer Frost. In order to save Caitlin, Hunter had to stab Killer Frost to death. In order to rescue Caitlin and restore Barry's powers, Wells has to create the particle accelerator explosion once more.

In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Andrew Kreisberg teases the problems arising from Well's plan to recreate the particle accelerator explosion, ""Harry thinks that between his particle-accelerator explosion [on Earth-Two] and what he learned from what the Thawne version of Wells did [on Earth-One], he can contain it and just get Barry his powers back. But it's complicated and dangerous. Everyone, including Barry, has to sort of decide if this is the right way to go, considering the craziness that ensued last time. They're sort of faced with a 'Damned if you do, damned if you don't,' because Zoom is about to unleash a reign of terror on the city."

With the return of Henry (John Wesley Shipp), Kreisberg adds that there will be a scene involving Barry's father figures, including Wells and Joe (Jesse L. Martin), "There's a great scene between Barry's three fathers essentially... where all three of them are sort of debating what their son should do," Kreisberg says. "Not all of them have the take on it that you'd expect, and I think that's what makes for such an interesting scene."

The Flash continues on the CW Tuesdays at 8pm.
