Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3 is going to air on May 8, 2016 at 9PM EDT. Before the third episode airs on HBO, it looks like fans have started to break down the episode 2 titled, Home. Apparently the new theory suggests that Tyrion Lannister (played by Peter Dinklage) is not a Lannister at all and he is the son of The Mad King.

Spoilers ahead:

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 2 shocked all the viewers by finally revealing the fate of Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington). The beloved bastard son of Ned Stark was finally resurrected from death by Melisandre (played by Carice van Houten). Well, this is not the only thing that excited the viewers.

The episode also unfolds the story of Tyrion, who is in Meeren. After couple of drinks, Tyrion decides to pay Daenerys Targaryen's (played Emilie Clarke) dragons a visit. The youngest son of Tywin Lannister makes his way below the pyramid to meet and feed the dragons, who have stopped eating ever since Daenerys flew out from their city. The brave dwarf character bravely approaches towards the dragons and without hesitation. He tells them a tale from his own childhood. While removing their iron clad chains, Tyrion tells them that when he was a child, all he wanted was a dragon of his own. The dragons do not attack him and quietly make their way back inside the dark chamber.

Hollywood Latest Updates reported that the scene between Tyrion and the dragons actually points to a theory that suggests that Tyrion is actually the son of The Mad King. In the notable novels written by George RR Martin, it is stated that Aerys II Targaryen, a.k.a The Mad King had a thing for Tywin's wife, Joanna Lannister. Fans on reddit also believes that Aerys and Joanna were actually in love and Tyrion is the result of their relationship.

According to International Business Times, this theory is actually true if someone looks back at the previous seasons of Game of Thrones. When Tyrion kills his own father, Tywin says, "You are not my real son." Also, Tywin never allowed Tyrion to rule at Casterly Rock. This may be because he never considered him as his son.

Well, if Tyrion is a Targaryen, then it makes him the worthy to sit on the iron throne. What do you guys think?
