"Arrow" S04E19 "Genesis" Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards Premiere Recap

The CW Network continues with the  Season 4 premiere of Arrow. In episode 20, Genesis, can Stephen Amell/Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards ) win the fight against Damien Dhark (Neal McDonough)?

Along with Malcolm (John Barrowman), Damien meets with HIVE and learns genesis has not been delayed. He then murders two of the members and continues the final phase. 

As Diggle (David Ramsay) and Oliver argue what to do next, Queen wants the team to take a break. Diggle meets with his wife and daughter at an ARGUS safe house, which is a moving van.

Felicity meets with Oliver and says she's going with him. Diggle's cell goes off after finding Andy. He finds himself in a shootout with his own brother. On the phone with his wife, Diggle asks for backup but the cavalry is too far away. As Diggle chases after his brther, Oliver and Felicity are at a casino. 

Thea (Willa Holland) wakes up in Alex's bed and finds him making breakfast. The two kiss on their vacation break. Queen meets with Esrin Fortuna (Gabriella Wright), the woman that Constantine owes money to. Andy has actually led Diggle into a trap and knocks him out.

While Diggle is tortured by Andy, Fortuna takes Oliver and Felicity from the casino to a temple room. Fortuna explains that there is a way to repel Damien's magic, but there is a catch. They can make Dhark more powerful at the same time.

Thea senses something strange about her break with Alex. After taking out the hired soldiers, Diggle handcuffs Andy but struggles to pull the trigger. During Fortuna's training session, Oliver finds himself fighting Deathstroke and reliving memories. The darkness in him is stronger than the light.

Thea starts to suspect that Alex might have drugged. Diggle gets into an argument with his wife; he has become the man she divorced. He has to bring his brother to justice the right way. Felicity tries to cheer up Oliver as Damien sets Andy free. Andy has put the tracker on his brother. 

Andy aims the bazooka and strikes at the moving van. During the high speed chase, Damien stops the truck with his magic. Diggle runs out in a motorcycle with his daughter as his wife throws a grenade. Felicity arrives in the nick of time to hit Andy with the van. 

With Diggle's wife as his captive, Damien tortures her before The Green Arrow interrupts. The Green Arrow has figured out a way to use Damien's magic against him. Andy tells his brother that Genesis is coming. Knowing he cannot protect his own wife and daughter, Diggle then pulls the trigger and kills Andy.

The Green Arrow tells Diggle that his wife is safe but Damien is gone. Back at the Arrow cave, Oliver hasn't heard from Thea. Diggle admits that he killed his baby brother. 

The team learns that Damien has stolen Rubicon from her. Rubicon can control the nuclear systems. Thea finds herself trapped in a force field, inside an underwater dome underneath Star City.
