Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment brings audiences the comic book movie, Deadpool, onto DVD and Blu-Ray. This is the perfect opportunity to check out why you should watch Ryan Reynolds,(Wade Wilson), Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), and T.J. Miller (Weasel) in the Marvel action/adventure flick.

As we previously mentioned, after living a gritty life as a mercenary, Wade Wilson (Reynolds) witnesses his world comes crashing down after being diagnosed with cancer. Wade never expected to find himself at the hands of an evil scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein), who tortures, disfigures, and transforms him into Deadpool. When the love of his life, Vanessa (Baccarin), is kidnapped, Deadpool needs the help of his X-Men buddies, Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand), to rescue her. Deadpool is on the hunt down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

We have 5 reasons why you should buy Deadpool on DVD and Blu-Ray here:

5) The Deadpool Movie We've Been Waiting For!

In his 5 minutes of screen time, the Smoking Aces actor proved himself as Marvel's anti-hero in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Reynolds fit the role so perfectly and served as producer of his own film, making sure everything turned out right. The Zombieland writers, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, took 6 years to put together a screenplay was just pitch-perfect. And the fact that Director Tim Miller made an R-Rated Marvel movie, after the Blade movies, was just icing on the cake.

4) The Meta Humor!

Just like in the comic books, Deadpool talks to the audience while breaking the fourth well. Even the opening credits mock everyone who's involved in the project. There's even a hilarious joke about who's playing Professor Xavier, Stewart or MacAvoy.

3) The Supporting Characters!

The Silicon Valley comedian and the Just Friends actor are just hilarious as they improvise and throw jabs at each other. The Gotham actress is just scorching hot as she plays Deadpool's girlfriend, Vanessa, who's no damsel in distress either. Reynolds and Bacarrin have this hilarious montage together as they try out different sexual positions across all the holidays.

2) The Fight Scenes!

Brianna Hildebrand stands out as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, the Marvel mutant who's only appeared in one issue. As Angel Dust, Gina Carano is all bulked up and ready to pound her fists at someone. And then, there's a naked Reynolds fighting Ed Skrein! Comic book fans will get a kick out of Bob, Agent of Hydra showing up at the climax.

1) The Special Features!

The extras include Deleted/Extended Scenes, a Gag Reel, From Comics to Screen...to Screen, Audio Commentaries, Deadpool's Fun Sack, and Galleries.

Deadpool arrives in stores on DVD and Blu-Ray May 10, 2016.

Readers, are you excited to add Deadpool to your movie collection?
