After three long years, Life of Pie director Ang Lee is back with another promising film. Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, a film based on the life of a young soldier, has just released online and judging by the trailer, it looks like it will be one of the finest cinematic experiences of 2016.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk stars a a new actor Joe Alwyn playing the titular role. The film is based on Ben Fountain's award-winning novel of the same name. As reported by Current Hollywood, the book follows the story of a young soldier, Billy Lynn, who is a part of a unit called Bravo Squad who are currently stationed in Iraq. After winning the horrendous battle with the Iraqi soldiers, Lynn returns back to home along with the surviving members from Bravo Squad.

The government then sends the seven surviving soldiers on a country tour to invoke the spirit of war among the youth. It is around the same time when things start to turn rough for the story's protagonist.

The first released trailer starts with the present time when Lynn is being honored for his fight with Iraq soldiers. Then from the flashbacks, the reality of the events during the battle is shown.
