The CW Network has plans underway for Season 12 of Supernatural. After the Season 11 of Supernatural finale, will Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) Winchester, Castiel (Misha Collins) end up losing Jeremy Carver?

As we previously mentioned, all things have changed in the ongoing war against The Darkness. In his attempt to find another human vessel, Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino) actually thought of inhabiting Sam, the one who humiliated him before. Because Sam and Dean needed a win desperately, Castiel made the sacrifice and left himself be taken over by Lucifer. Will Lucifer fulfill his promise and get rid of The Darkness, or have Sam and Dean already failed?

As we mentioned before, the Turn actress has landed the recurring role of Lady Toni Bevell on Supernatural. Lady Toni Bevell (Blackmore) will first make her appearance in the current eleventh season. The mysterious visitor from across the pond, Lady Toni Bevell will discover she actually has a lot in common with the Winchester brothers. Bevell will then return to the show for an unspecified number of episodes during the twelfth season.

According to TV Line, showrunner Jeremy Carver will be stepping down at the end of the eleventh season. Carver is in the works of his upcoming new CW thriller. The pilot for Frequency has now been ordered to series. After Carver heads out to his own show, new co-showrunning team of Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb will take his place.

Carver began as a script writer on Supernatural during the third season. He the left following Season 5 to work on Syfy's American remake Being Human. When the Syfy drama ended, he came back Season 8 as showrunner.

Much like the movie, except for the gender swap, Frequency follows a female police detective (Peyton List) who is able to speak via a ham radio with her estranged and deceased father. While working on an unresolved murder case, the 'butterfly effect' somehow wreaks havoc in the present day.

Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on the CW.
