Game of Thrones S06E06: Blood Of My Blood Maisie Williams, Kit Harington Premiere Recap

HBO continues with the premiere of the acclaimed Season 6 of Game of Thrones. In episode 6, Blood of my Blood, Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) fight for control and power in author George R.R. Martin's ongoing epic saga.

As Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is carried off, he's reliving memories of the past, present, and future. The white walkers are still on their way. All of a sudden, a mysterious figure takes out all the walkers before riding off with Bran.

Same takes Gilly and his son to meet his family. Sam didn't mention to his father that she is a wildling. Sam reunites with his mother and sister, who are both smitten with Gilly and the baby. The King gets permission from the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) to meet with Margaery (Natalie Dormer). He realizes that she has been brainwashed by the High Sparrow. 

Both dressed up, Sam and Gilly meet with his father. The family discovers that she is indeed a Wildling. The father has waged war against them and he is now eating with one. Having enough of the father's tirade, Sam's mother and sister take Gilly to another room. This is the last night Sam will be with his family. 

Sam refuses to give in to his father's orders and retreats with Gilly, At the theater, Arya laughs as she watches the players portray Joffrey's murder. Even Arya is moved by the actress' portrayal of Cersei. During the applause, Arya slips the poison into the drink. 

Arya meets with the actress she's supposed to murder. She then stops the actress from drinking the poison. Jaqen H'ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) years that she failed to complete her mission. 

Elsewhere, Jamie Lannster (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)is getting ready to launch his attack as Margaery is starring her walk of shame. Jamie rides up on his horse and threatens the High Sparrow. The King worked out a truce with the High Sparrow to save Margaery. There will be a holy alliance between the crown and the faith. 

Jamie argues with the King over what he has done.  Meanwhile, Walter Frey (David Bradley) wants to get the castle of Riverrun  back. Cersei (Lena Headey) convinces Jamie to stay because she has a bigger plan to strike back. 

Bran wakes up and meets with his uncle who saved him. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) puts a halt to her moving tribe at the mountains. Dario (Michiel Huisman) mention she is a conqueror, not a ruler. 

The Dothraki witness in shock at the arrival of the dragon with Daenerys on its back. The Dothraki will follow her as she intends on taking over Westeros.
