Disney's Lucasfilm has kept completely quiet about their upcoming stories from the George Lucas-created franchise, and fans know nothing about this year's Rogue One or next year's Star Wars: Episode 8 -- but some details of the latter may have been leaked! New spoilers reveal General Leia (Carrie Fisher) could finally use the Force, as the star of the first trilogy steps up to say he wants to return.

According to Making Star Wars, there's a new rumor in town regarding Episode 8, and it might come from a leaked part of the screenplay. IMDb user Mr_Ghostface_Lives, who last year had a few things right when speaking about The Force Awakens, now claims to be aware of a few things from Episode 8's screenplay.

Among the things this user said was that Leia, who we know since last year's Episode 7 is now known as a General instead of a Princess, directly uses the Force to save herself from an attack in this film. While we've known Leia is Force sensitive since the first trilogy (and her connection to Luke even saw her seeing he was okay in Return of the Jedi), but she hasn't focused her powers in the big screen and she certainly never trained to be a Jedi.

Speaking of the most famous family in that galaxy far, far away, Ghostface also said there wasn't anything on Episode 8's screenplay about Luke (Mark Hamill) being Rey's (Daisy Ridley) father, nor would that be revealed on Episode 9. It's probably the most popular theory birthed from Force Awakens, one that could explain why the character was so quick to learn the ways of the Force, so it seems unlikely that the rumor is just going to die down from one comment on a forum.

In the meantime, Melty reports that Hayden Christensen, who became an international star on 2002's Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones playing Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and then reprising the role in Revenge of the Sith, was recently asked whether he'd be willing to come back to the role that made him a star. His response? "In a heartbeat for sure."

"Being a part of that world was a huge deal for me and you know, was a good four, five years of my life and I have fond memories and good friendships from that whole time," Christen said on an interview with etalkCTV. "But I don't know, if they ever game me the call I'd sign up in a heartbeat, yeah."
