Rian Johnson's Star Wars: Episode 8 has just finished filming, and rumors about what to expect from the Force Awakens sequel are buzzing all over the web -- and the latest one could give us some neat tricks on Jedi mythology. A supposed new leak has hit the web, and it's filled with spoilers ... from Rey and Luke Skywalker's time together in that far away planet!

Mike Zeroh, a Star Wars fan and YouTuber, recently told the world he'd received spoilers about the still-unnamed Episode 8. In a video posted last week, he revealed he'd received an e-mail from a supposedly trustworthy source regarding a scene between Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Luke (Mark Hamill), in which the Jedi master showed his new Padawan some of the extent of his power.

In the scene, Luke uses the Force to gently get his old lightsaber from Rey's hands, and it floats between them before reaching the Jedi's hand. Right afterward, his own saber floats out of his belt and the man who defeated Darth Vader raises up both hands, each holding a lightsaber.

"From what has been described, Luke closes his eyes and dismantles both lightsabers, all metal and components removed into pieces, all the building blocks of both lightsabers are separated into tiny bits and pieces, leaving only two crystals, one in each hand (green over left and blue over right hand) and informs her about the importance of the Crystals," the e-mail describes.

While every rumor about the upcoming film should be taken with a grain of salt, Zeroh does have a pretty decent record. Metro reports that in the early months of last year, the YouTuber quoted the same source that's supposedly e-mailing him now to reveal a few plot points that ended up being true, including the inclusion of the "Tri-Blade" saber (the one used by Kylo Ren) and, even more impressively, the fact that "the core of the plot is a quest for Luke Skywalker."

Disney's Lucasfilm continues to be as tight as can be regarding the future of the franchise, and nothing besides a few new cast members is officially known so far. The company had the same strategy for last year's Force Awakens and it ended up turning into the third highest-grossing film of all time, so it seems unlikely they're about to start dishing on plot lines at this point.

Star Wars: Episode 8 will reach theaters on December 15, 2017.
