Five years after the last installment of the film series adaptation to Harry Potter, it's time for the magical world to pop right back up to screens, and the prequel of sorts Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is scheduled for a fall release -- and J.K. Rowling, who created Potter and wrote the screenplay for the new movie, just revealed the sequel's script is finished!

David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films as well as the upcoming Fantastic Beasts, recently told Reuters that Rowling has already finished the script for the sequel.

"We've done the first one, she's written the second one, [Rowling's] got ideas for the third one," the Legend of Tarzan filmmaker said. "So, they... no one quite has ownership of them yet, in terms of having a relationship with the material other than having a relationship with the movie when it comes out."

Of course, this is different than what happened when it was time to adapt the seven Harry Potter books, as they were written in another medium. At the time, this meant having to cut some things from the books to fit them into another storytelling language, as well as trying to fit everything into a regularly long feature film -- and even that is relative, because the content of the last book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, was so dense it had to be split into two different movies.

This time around, Rowling is overseeing the production from a screenwriter point of view, not just as the author. While fans are familiar with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as a Hogwarts textbook, the story of how the book came to be is brand new to everyone but Rowling, the cast and crew.

In the past few months, Rowling has released, through Pottermore, several introductory stories to the state of the magical world during the events of Fantastic Beasts, as the movie is set in the 1920s, many decades before Harry Potter.

Fantastic Beasts stars Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne in the role of Newt Scamander, a "magizoologist" who goes around the world studying the different magical creatures. He comes to America with a briefcase filled with different and varyingly dangerous creatures, but when it opens, they're set free and open a new type of adventure, in a very Pandora's box type of ordeal.

Besides Redmayne, other cast members in the film include Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell, Ron Perlman, Katherine Waterson, Samantha Morton and Jon Voight.

Fantastic Beasts will hit theaters on Nov. 18.
