Real Housewives of New York star LuAnn de Lesseps has just gone through a very public breakdown, which was all filmed for the Bravo reality series, as her fiancé was caught kissing someone else. The star, who is still engaged to Tom D'Agostino Jr., got confronted with the fact that her soon-to-be husband was spotted locking lips with another woman. Co-star Bethenny Frankel was sent some incriminating photos that proved the indiscretion.

However, dispite the little hiccup in their relationship, according to Radar Online, de Lesseps is planning to stick by her man through this scandal. The report mentioned that the night the kiss took place, they had gotten into a fight and actually split for a brief period.

"I'm not going to let a stupid kiss ruin the rest of my life," the star explained, accoridng to PEOPLE. "He screwed up. What he did was wrong. But this wasn't premeditated. It wasn't an affair. It was a mistake. He was upset with me. It was a stupid retaliation of some sort. He did the wrong thing, and he totally recognizes that. I know in my heart of hearts that he loves me."

While she has since forgiven Tom and taken him back, that doesn't erase the pain that he caused her.

"I felt like someone ripped my heart out of my chest," the star explained, according to Refinery29 of Frankel showing her the pictures during the RHONY season 8 finale. "I was devastated. I had my heart broken on television."

De Lesseps, also says that while she forgave her fiancé this time, that should there be another slip up that she won't be so forgiving.

"Obviously, if it happens again, I would have a serious problem with that," the star explained. "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."
