We are just going to star calling Dancing With the Stars season 23 the reunion season, since it seems like all of our favorite pros are coming back for a little homecoming party. While it was previously reported that Maksim Chmerkovskiy was heading back to reclaim the mirrorball trophy for himself, new reports are saying that both Derek Hough and his sister Julianne Hough are headed back to the ABC series to show off their moves.

According to Us Weekly, Derek will be hoping to take home yet another mirrorball trophy, while Julianne is reclaiming her spot on the judges' table.

The star stated duo decided to sit season 22 out of the series, as they were focusing on other projects. Julianne left the show for a hiatus shorty after she starred on Fox's live production of Grease.

When Hough's departure was announced, series producer Rob Wade, said that Hough would also have a spot on the show if she wanted it.

"Julianne will always be a part of the Dancing With the Stars family, and we hope to see her back in the ballroom in the future," Wade explained at the time, according to ET Online.

Derek also decided to take the Broadway route as he starred in a revival of Singin' in the Rain following his season 16 run on Dancing With the Stars.

Derek explained that it was the show's delayed premiere date this time around that gave him the opportunity to explore other opportunities, as well as rejoin the series.

"It frees me up to do some other things too, so it's kind of fun," he told E! News, which includes his role in Hairspray Live! "Broadway's one of my plans, it's in my cards, it's happening, but right now it's leaving me open. Plans change a little bit, so now I have some time to create some fun opportunities, some fun things, including Hairspray."
