UFC Fighter Josh Samman died Wednesday morning after being hospitalised after a week. The young man is just 28 years of age and was under a coma before he passed away.

According to Yahoo Sports, a friend of Josh and his roommate Troy Kirkingburg, noticed that Samman was not responding to anything. This happened last Thursday night in their apartment in Florida. Police suspected that this could have been a cause of "drug overdose". This was refuted by Josh Samman's mom saying there was no heroin that involved Josh at all.

Josh Samman however had documented his experience with drug abuse. This was found in a memoir called "The Housekeeper: Love, Death and Prize Fighting". Although while this was part of his history, the mother does confirm that the comatose was not caused by any substance at all.

According to The Guardian, after the authorities took a look into Samman, he was brought to a hospital where he was stuck in a coma. From the looks of it, there was no foul play intended, but the officials will look into the case further to see the exact cause of his Josh' coma.

Josh Samman was in a coma for several days. He was then moved to a hospice at Tuesday night. After which, on Wednesday morning, he was confirmed to be dead.

Josh Samman joined Ultimate Fighting Championship at 2013. He holds a record of 9 wins and 2 losses at lower competitions in UFC. He was victorious at his first three fights. He won the "Performance of the Night" bonus when he faced Eddie Gordon and Caio Magalhães. He had two consecutive losses after. That brought him down in the middle weight rankings as Number 31. He was scheduled to fight Oluwale Bamgbose on the 9th of December this year.
