Last night at WWE Smackdown Live, Shane McMahon, Smackdown Live Commissioner and Daniel Bryan, Smackdown live General Manager, issued a challenge on their rival brand WWE Raw. They call out Raw that in the upcoming signature WWE pay per view "Survivor Series", Smackdown Live will not only ask one team but three teams to go against Raw for said pay per view.

According to Wrestle Zone, Smackdown Live wants three classic elimination matches tag team matches. One of which where Smackdown will throw in their best five male wrestlers, best five women wrestlers and best five tag teams for Survivor Series.

From the looks of it, WWE does want to make this one of the most historical moments in WWE history considering it is going to be the 30th anniversary of Survivor Series, one the longest running pay per views in the history of WWE.

Considering that they will put five men, five women and five tag teams against the opposing brand sounds big as it is. Survivor Series was known to only have one of these elimination matches during said pay per view. This will be the first time that three classic elimination matches will take place.

According to Bleacher Report, within just a month or so, the card has been filling up slots. There's been hints directly from Goldberg about coming back to WWE Raw in order to challenge Brock Lesnar once again after their classic match in Wrestlemania XX. These are the cards so far. As of who are in the the elimination matches is still currently unknown.

Having the knowledge that the best of each brands is going head to head, it would be less likely that there will be title matches that will take place in Survivor Series this year. However, ever since the brand extension, this is a great way to pave for the story line of the two competing brands of WWE. Fans are thrilled to see what's in store.

Survivor Series' 30th anniversary will take place at Air Canada Centre, Toronto Canada at November 20, 2016.
