'Jealousy Incarnate' Episodes 14, 15, 16 Recap: Episode 17 Heads-up

The Korean drama "Jealousy Incarnate" made headlines on its fourteenth episode when a kiss was shared between Pyo Na Ri (Gong Hyo-jin) and Lee Hwa-shin (Jo Jung-suk). The kiss was considered climatic.

In a report by ITech Post, it was said that the show recorded a 15.7 percent in ratings because of the "climatic" kiss. Epsiode 14 of "Jealousy Incarnate" marks the start of the love triangle between Pyo Na Ri, Lee Hwa-shin and Go Jung-won (Go Kyung-pyo).

"Jealousy Incarnate" is a story of the weather caster Pyo Na Ri who once had a crush on Lee Hwa-shin until she met Hwa-shin's friend Go Jung-won. She finds Jung-won to be the perfect man and dated him. When Na Ri was auditioning to be an announcer on a news station, Hwa-shin helped her get to her audition on time.

Hwa-shin diverted the chopper he was in going to a location to cover a story to get Na Ri to her audition causing Hwa-shin to be suspended for a month. She thought he was so lovable. She nailed the audition and it was after the audition that they shared the climatic kiss which confirmed their feelings with each other. Watch the clip of that kiss here.

In Episode 15 of "Jealousy Incarnate" however, there were a lot of pleading and drama that happened. Na Ri felt guilty because she is dating Jung-won and she also loves him. She broke up with Jung-won telling him that although she loves Jung-won, she also loves another man. When Hwa-shin also met her to ask if she still loves Jung-won, she confirmed it and also told Hwa-shin that they should stop seeing each other.

Na Ri decided to leave to avoid both men but saw them on the street fighting. She told both of them to date other women. Both men pursued her only to fail. She stopped seeing both men and stopped answering their calls.

After a month, Na Ri anchored the morning news. Hwa-shin's suspension was lift off and Jung-won is back from a vacation. They learned of Na Ri going on a blind date.

The blind date however, remained a mystery which adds excitement to the viewers of "Jealousy Incarnate." It was speculated by Drama Beans that the mystery date might be the "Pasta" and "The first Shop of Coffee Prince" actor Lee Seon Kyun.

Hwa-shin proposed that Na Ri both date him and Jung-won so she will know which one she likes best. Both Na Ri and Jung-won disagreed.

The competition between the two men re-surfaced in Episode 16 with each trying to be a step ahead of the other. In this episode of "Jealousy Incarnate" Jung-won agreed to Hwa-shin's proposal of two-timing them which upset Na Ri.

Hwa-shin on the other hand was told that he developed a seroma and was told to get himself admitted to the hospital for a surgery. He was surprised to see Na Ri in the hospital, she said that the doctor told her. During Hwa-shin's preparation, he forgot his bra so Na Ri went to Hwa-shin's place to get it. Jung-won saw her and followed her to the hospital.

At the end of episode 16 of "Jealousy Incarnate" it was proposed by Na Ri that they live in the same house so they will know each other better. The proposal was meant for a platonic set up but both men did not agree.

Episode 17 of "Jealousy Incarnate" will be aired October 19 on SBS at 10:00p.m. Pyo Na Ri will give Jung-won and Hwa-shin a difficult decision to make, a decision which may put the men's friendship on the line.
