Pharrell Williams performed the record breaking new single "Get Lucky" from Daft Punk Friday night at a New York City show. Williams collaborated with the French musicians on their new album Random Access Memories and performed with them on their most recent single. At the HTC one launch event in Brooklyn, the hip-hop producer and singer actually sang the song three times in front of the live audience. You can watch the video below.

Music fans have been anticipating new music from Daft Punk since their 2005 album Human After All. The French duo did record the soundtrack for the 2011movie "Tron: Legacy," but it's been a while since fans could listen to a new studio album from the band.

The band has been teasing their new album, set to be released May 21, with teaser videos on "Saturday Night Live" and at Coachella. Once their new single "Get Lucky," featuring Williams and Chic's Nile Rodgers finally debuted, fans flocked to the new song. In fact, Spotify music streaming service, which has been around since 2008 said "Get Lucky" had the biggest streaming day for a single track on Friday in the U.S. and U.K.

According to Digital Spy, Williams performed a 16 song set, including three performances of "Get Lucky" which you can see below in the 11-minute YouTube video. Before performing the song Williams told the crowd, "Man, these guys that made this record, they're like so far beyond their time. I'm honored to know those guys, those robots...Those guys we have a lot of incredible history together. So when they called me over the summer, I just remembered thinking one thing... try to get lucky, right?" Before performing the song a third time Williams told the crowd, "Don't worry, you can leave if you want to leave, I just need to do it. This is my first time doing the song."
