The official trailer for Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman has been released recently, giving audiences a tease on what to expect on the Diana Prince's solo outing. Along with the trailer's release, three new posters were also revealed, adding up to the hype.

The trailer features Diana, played by Gal Gadot, as she leaves her homeland to fight alongside men. According to IGN, it also shows how the Amazon Princess learning to adapt in a world not her own, which is set during the First World War.

The theme for the superheroine's film was first seen in the movie Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, when Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) sent Diana an email with an attachment, which was hinted as something she was looking for. The "thing" turned out to be an old photo of a group of soldiers, among them is Wonder Woman

In line with the trailer, three posters for the movie have surfaced through the film's social media accounts, as Morning News USA reports. Each poster features the heroine wielding a distinct item (her sword, shield and arm braces), and has a word pertaining to the character (Wonder, Power and Courage).

Wonder Woman, one of the first female superheroes, first appeared in comics on December 1941. Lynda Carter was the first to bring the character to life, in the television series Wonder Woman, which aired from 1975 to 1979. Recently, the Amazonian Princess is also named by the United Nations as an Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls.

Directed by Patty Jenkins (Monster), the movie is scheduled for a June 2017 release. Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen and Lucy Davis, among others, will be joining Gadot as they bring Wonder Woman to the big screen.  Wonder Woman is also set to appear alongside other DC heroes in the upcoming Zack Snyder film Justice League later that year.
