Samsung has traditionally release its flagship phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona for three years. But it looks like its most advanced phone; the Galaxy S8, will miss this opportunity. Due to the Note 7 fire fiasco and world-wide recall, Samsung engineers may need more time to test their products before launch. Making sure that their phones are safe and still at par with other brands will push the Galaxy S8 launch to April, missing the Barcelona event that happens annually every March.

According to a report from Forbes, this two-month delay will likely affect Samsung's momentum owing to the success of its Galaxy S6 and S7 phones. But it looks like the South Korean tech giant could not care less about this anymore since it wants to make sure that the Galaxy S8 lives to the expectations of users when it comes to features, design and safety.

Express reported that the Galaxy S8 will be getting an all-digital assistant just like iPhone's Siri. Samsung's Ai voice assistant will be called Viv. The smart assistant will not just be on the Galaxy S8 but will soon be integrated in other Samsung devices just like their Gear S watches, smartphones, smart televisions and more.

The Galaxy S8 is also said to boast a new design with dual-curved displays and even a bezel body similar to new Xiaomi Mi Mix phones. The Galaxy S8 will come in two variants. One has a 5.5 inches screen similar to Galaxy S7 models and the other one with a smaller 5.1 inch screen, all with dual-curve display. Samsung sources have codenamed these two models Dream and Dream2.

Finally, there are also rumors that the new Galaxy S8 will also ditch the 3.5mm headphone port. Apple has done this to their new iPhone 7 and got a lot of negative reviews from users.
