“The Big Bang Theory” S10 E9 ‘The Geology Elevation’: Sheldon’s Rage & Stephen Hawking Return

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 episode 9 will air this week on CBS with a title 'The Geology Elevation.' According to a teaser trailer released by CBS, this episode will center on Sheldon Cooper's jealous rage as he learns that the geology department has received a $500K grant. There will also be a beloved character who will return as per the trailer; none other than Stephen Hawking who has guested in many TBBT episodes since season 5.

The Christian Times has reported on 'The Geology Elevation' and it mentioned that Stephen Hawking will indeed return to the series but it is not yet sure if he will guest as himself or just his trademark voice. From leaked information about the next episode, Howard will find a remote control and will be surprised that this device will be able to allow him to move a Stephen Hawking figure which he has created.

The rest of the gang thinks that Howard is doing something offensive; they talk to him and convince him to stop what he is doing but he won't listen. They decide that Stephen Hawking should speak to Howard personally.

Meanwhile, the main plot of the episode will be about Sheldon's jealousy over the geology department winning a special grant. The Siver Times reported on 'The Geology Elevation' and mentioned that Dr. Cooper will be utterly furious about Bert winning the MacArthur Genius award.

Sheldon is not just jealous about Bert because it was revealed in previous seasons that he has feelings for his girlfriend Amy Farrah Fowler but he also thinks that the geology department is useless and not worth the trouble. Earning grant money worth $500K will be something that would be more useful for the physics department, which Sheldon thinks is superior from all fields of science.

Sheldon will have a jealous rage that will make him hurt himself. He will further resolve his anger when Bert tells him that he has something better which is none other than the love of Amy.
