Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle opened up about the receiving terrifying death threats earlier this year. The Suits actress has thrust into the global spotlight after the royal confirmed their budding relationship earlier this week, but during a conversation with Piers Morgan earlier this year. The Star revealed that she's dealt with scary times due to her job.

Meghan was on a visit to London in June, and spoke to Good Morning Britain's Piers in a London pub after spending a day in the Royal box at Wimbledon. In a recent statement, Harry hit out at the "abuse and harassment" that his girlfriend had suffered since their relationship came to light

In her conversation with Piers, Meghan reportedly revealed other scary times she had faced because of her character Rachel Zany in the hit US show Suits, when she cheated on her boyfriend.

In one telling comment that could apply to her romantic life she said, 'My mantra is don't give it five minutes if you are not going to give it five years'.

Meghan's comment came as she prepared to leave the pub in Kensington, West London, where she had spent 90 minutes chatting to Piers. She read a text message, smiled and said, i am recently single again, so I've got a few guys being a little...persistent! I am just out of practice with the dating scene.

Meghan marries Trevor Engleson on September 10,2011 after having dated since 2004. The couple split in May 2013, divorcing in August 2013. It was reported in November 2016 that Markle had waived her right to financial support from Engleson. On November 8,2016 Kensington Palace confirmed Markle was a few months into a relationship with Prince Harry in a statement from the price asking for media harassment of Meghan and her family to end.
