Kim Cattrall may finally have her own sexy series on HBO, a spinoff of the original "Sex and the City." The actress who played Samantha Jones in six seasons and two films for SATC may have unofficially announced the news via Twitter Saturday.

According to Glamour, nothing has been confirmed yet. However, Kim's tweets may reveal more than just a rumor. It started when Wendy Williams brought up the rumor of a potential spinoff on her show last week.

Williams said that Kim Cattrall is in the process of signing a deal with HBO to star in a spinoff for "Sex and the City." When Wendy announced this via her Twitter page, Kim responded with a revealing tweet saying: "I'm so unbelievably flattered & moved @WendyWilliams Can't WAIT 2 get back 2 the serious business of making u all laugh! Fingers x'd."

A fan just can't hesitate confirming the news and personally asked Cattrall herself. The actress again responded with the fingers crossed message. These messages from the actress has definitely started fans speculating and thinking about what will happen if Samantha Jones had her own show.

Meanwhile, E! News revealed that Sarah Jessica Parker may have also mentioned a revival of "Sex in the City" way back in October. She was interviewed for the show "Sunday Morning" on CBS and she confirmed the possible revival by saying: "I will say that the idea (for a "Sex and the City" revival) it rests in the butler's pantry. Not on the table, but somebody is holding it fairly nearby." Her words stirred speculations that there is indeed a possible SATC revival or spinoff.

A show focusing on Samantha Jones could be a breather considering there are hardly any shows about older women on television.  Fans agree that a show about a 60-year old woman with a wonderful sex life is a refreshing break from roles that confined older actresses for years.
