The Young and the Restless extra Corey Sligh arrested for child molestation!

The "known" Young and the Restless actor and model Corey Sligh was arrested yesterday October 14 under child molestation charges.

The parents reported sexual abuse in Cherokee County Sheriff's Office in Corey's home state of Georgia. The anonymous victim was reportedly a little girl below the age 10 when the molestation occurred on the 24th of September this year. Mail Online reported that documents of the crime shows that the abuse has been happening for a span of almost 5 months from April to September. Although the number of times Sligh sexually abused the victim over that period of time was not reported.

According to People, a representative from the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office said that the 28 year old actor posted bail of $22,000 and was set free on the same day of his arrest. No reports have been release whether or not Corey Sligh plead guilty, there have also been no comments or statements from the actor as well.

Corey Sligh plays the role of a bartender and a waiter in the television series "The Young and the Restless," however Corey had actually been a popular character named Jordan in a television show called "All About Lizzie" (2012 - 2013). He also played an extra role in the 2008 film "God is Dead" as a partygoer.

A little more fact about Corey Sligh was when he got intentionally run over in a Rite Aid parking lot in West Hollywood by two men back in 2014 during Thanksgiving. After being hit with a car, the two guys went on and beaten Corey up. The actor was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and got treatment for multiple injuries including a broken arm.
