One of the greatest superstars in sports entertainment history, The Undertaker has announced his return to WWE SmackDown. Known for his evil appearance, the dead man is huge and an ironic beast who has captured the hearts of millions across the world.

The long wait for the Undertaker fans has finally drawn to an end as he announced he will be a part of SmackDown and is said to participate in the retirement match at the WrestlMania in 2017. This time the Undertaker has returned with a mission to see SmackDown succeed in the Survivor Series rather than team RAW as stated on Russia Herald.

The Deadman has been one of the leading WWE superstars for many years. However, he will not return to a full time schedule. The 51 year old seems to draw to an end of his career but he is said to appear for televised events and WWE Network specials as per Headlines and Global News.

It is also rumored that this will be the farewell tour for the Undertaker and his final retirement match is said to be in 2017 at WrestleMania. The superstar has put up a good performance all these years, it seems that age has caught up and he has to retire to maintain his body and health.

SmackDown had a drop last week due to the presidential election and the return of the Undertaker increased the record ratings to 2.725 million viewers.

His appearance might be limited and fans could get to watch him perform at special events like Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. He has also made statements saying that wrestlers should fear him! He might take down AJ Styles at The Royal Rumble and is sure to pull the rope against his opponent John Cena at WrestleMania.

Nothing is confirmed as to what WWE has is store for the Undertaker but it is certain that he has played his part well and generations will remember him with his spectacular fights.
