Music lovers now have a new tune to sing to, with the all-new Seven Deadly Sins Meliodas Headphones & Walkman from Sony. The duo is a product of Sony's partnership with "The Seven Deadly Sins Manga" TV series. The headphones and Walkman are designed in such a way that they reflect the Film's protagonist Meliodas. For instance, the back casing of the Walkman has the Meliodas' Dragon's Sin of wrath mark. The sign is repeated also in one of the headphones' ear cups and both devices are painted in red, which is the theme color of the film.

Enstarz pointed out that the Walkman will be built on the latest NW-A35HN aeries A/R technology, whereas the headphones will be analogous to the MDR-100A series. The packaging will be decorated with Meliodas pictures and will reflect the overall religious theme of the film. The headphones have been marketed quite well so far especially in Japan, although the rest of the world is yet to receive them.

According to Animenewsnetwork, Yuki Kaji who acts as Meliodas in the film, will be appearing at a commemoration event to be held in Tokyo on December 4th, 2016. Here Yuki Kaji will give a live speech on the same stage that Arisa Takigawa will perform an anime song. As we all Know, Arisa has done several songs in the "Seven Deadly Sins Manga" TV series and is closely associated with J-Pop.

More marketing of these headphones is expected to be carried out in this event, together with the marketing of other products related to the film. Here we are talking about Netflix packages from which the film is streamed through, as well as the Kodansha Comics which publish the TV series in North America. In the many Japanese exhibition rooms where these headphones and Walkman will be displayed, Yuki Kaji (Meliodas) voice recordings will entertain fans and lure them to the displays where they can buy the products.
