In August, according to Morning News USA, Gomez proclaimed that she had lupus, and uttered that she would be needing a rest to concentrate on her health and happiness. Following her announcement was the cancellation her "Revival Tour." The Selena Gomez musical performance has a remaining total of 34 shows when she abolished the tour.

On Sunday, she revealed the things she was undertaking. "I had to stop," Gomez said, CNN cited. She continued, "I had everything, and I was absolutely broken inside. I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down."

She expressed gratitude to her supporters for their love and care, saying, "If you are broken you do not have to stay broken. If that's anything whether you respect me or not that's one thing you should know about me. I care about people."
