Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev Update: After Ex's Divorce, Nina Dobrev Links To Drake

Nina Dobrev is linked to Drake! After her involvement with Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's alleged divorce issue, the "The Vampire Diaries" actress is now reportedly dating Rihanna's ex.

The "Live Your Life" actress handed Drake his award being the Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album Category last Sunday during the 2016 American Music Award. It was like a reunion for the two old-time Degrassi stars.

The rapper, likewise, congratulated Dobrev in his acceptance speech.

"Me and Nina were on Degrassi together, by the way," the Hotline Bling singer said. "We have come a long way, you know? Congratulations on all your success."

As per  TV Guide, Drake's character as Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian drama was an athlete who kept up his melodic amusement. Dobrev on the other hand, played the role of a young mother to her daughter. Mia Jones was her name in the drama; she strived on her modeling race and raised her daughter as well.

The character of Dobrev was only seen in the first few parts of season one; she did not obtain a regular appearance up to season seven. The Canadian born rapper, on the other hand, constantly appeared from the start of the season. His last year was during the seventh season of the long-running series.

As to patch up things, Drake and Nina Dobrev don't have a romantic affair. However, they are considered as good friends. As of the moment, Dobrev is still to clarify the speculations dragging her name to former boyfriend Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed divorce.

Reports were proliferated about Dobrev's return on "The Vampire Diaries" final season. As reported by the Cinema Blend, it was difficult for the fans to believe that the CW's long-running series will again include Dobrev. While, in fact, they survived airing the complete season without the actress.

The show runner, Julie Plec previously said that Dobrev made a promise to return on the last season of the show.
