It is not clear if "Deadpool 2" will be released on November 2, 2018, or February 14, 2019. What is known is, it is in production and the sequel well on its way to being made. Since the movie debuted in February, there is a huge chance that it might stick to a Valentine's Day viewing after it became a huge success at the box office since its release.

According to Cinema Blend, "Deadpool 2" was given a go signal before the first one was in theaters and releasing it so far away in 2019 is a little baffling. However, there is still the possibility of it being screened a few months earlier as the demand for the sequel has been clamored by the fans.

In a related news, original film director Tim Miller has thrown his towel and will not be coming back to direct "Deadpool 2." Reports say that he and "Deadpool" main star Ryan Reynolds cannot settle an even ground when it comes to the direction of the Merc with a Mouth's story.

Marvel has assigned David Leitch to become the director of "Deadpool 2." According to Wired, he directed "John Wick" and this could be a good turn of events for fans of Deadpool because this could mean that the sequel could be made more violent canon to what the Merc's storyline is all about.

Leitch has been known to excel at filming action movies which could be perfect for "Deadpool 2" as the sequel is expected to have a lot more going on now when a new character named Cable is expected to appear. Furthermore, "Deadpool" is the first Marvel film to have an R-rating so extreme violence, sexual themes, and more cussing won't have to be a problem in "Deadpool 2."

Didn't catch "Deadpool" in theaters? Don't worry, the movie is available in the standard and Blu-Ray format. You can also play as "Deadpool" on PS4
