For those who have seen "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," a glimpse of Zoe Kravitz's character Leta Lestrange was shown in the movie. It has been confirmed that she will be making an appearance in the sequel and her coming may complicate the budding romance between Newt Scamander played by Eddie Redmayne and Porpentina 'Tina' Goldstein played by Katherine Waterston.

British director David Yates confirmed to Cinema Blend that Leta Lestrange will be appearing in the "Fantastic Beasts 2." Yates describes her as "complicated and damaged" with Newt still having feelings for her. This hints that there might be love troubles or even a love triangle with Tina in the mix.

Not much is known about Leta apart from the fact that she is connected to Rodolphus and Bellatrix Lestrange from the "Harry Potter" films. In the movie, Tina's sister, Queenie (played by Alison Sudol) mentioned that Newt's former flame was a "taker" and that the magizoologist would be better paired with someone who is a "giver."

Tina and Newt are destined to end up together so it is highly hinted that Tina may play that role in Newt's life later. It is not known yet how Leta's appearance in "Fantastic Beasts 2" may complicate the forming relationship.

Independent reports that Credence Barebone (played by Ezra Miller), Gellert Grindelwald (played by Johnny Depp) and young Albus Dumbledore will also be in "Fantastic Beasts 2." It is not known what Credence's role will be in the sequel but there are speculations that he is alive and will somehow be involved with Grindelwald. There is still no news of who is cast to play young Dumbledore for the sequel.

The production and filming of "Fantastic Beasts 2" will start inJuly 2017 and is scheduled to be released on November 16, 2018.
