'The Originals' Debuts after Sister Show; 'The Vampire Diaries' Bids Its Goodbye [SPOILERS]

It is a widespread fact that The Vampire Diaries is coming to an end after the current season; season 8. According to Wikipedia there shall be 9 episodes which already 5 of them have been released.

Although this may be heart breaking news to the avid fans that have been here for the TV show from 2009, there is good news. The Originals, a spinoff of the true and original show is airing right after the season finale of The Vampire Diaries.

Not just that but it is rumored that some of the characters from Vampire Diaries will make a debut on The Originals. Already from the previous 3 season of this show some characters did appear like Michael Trevino, Zach Roerig and Paul Wesley.

But for this season there will be different characters that are appearing like Mathew Davis who plays the character of Alaric Saltzman on the Vampire Diaries. It has been said by GameNGuide that Alaric shall be a pivotal point in the show.

According to the source, Saltzman will be transporting a very precious yet dangerous object to one of the Mikaelson brothers, Elijah. This appearance will be marked on the 8^th episode of season 4. Aside from this, no other plot holes have been discovered.

EnStarz reported that there is a rumor the Candice King, the actress playing Caroline Forbes on the Vampire Diaries will make a debut on the spin-off show. Although Caroline is currently engaged to Stefan (Paul Wesley) it looks like their love shall not last.

After Damon Salvatore, caused total and utter destruction to his friends and family nothing seems to be in place anymore as the little group (whatever's left of the characters) try to fix the broken hearts and consequences.

The latest Originals season has not yet decided on a fixed date to be released as many sources cite different dates. But it is known that well after New Year in 2017, fans will get the first glimpse of their favorite show.
