'Arrow' Season 5 Spoilers, News & Update; Stephen Amell Hinting Season 5 Might Be The Last

Fans of Stephen Amell's Arrow are in shock after hearing the upcoming season 5 will likely be the last season if the viewers of the show continue to falter. The start of season 4 has received a good feedback but it has slowly dimmed as the story goes on.

As for Marc Guggenheim, the executive producer of the Arrow views the season 5 more likely to be an end to a chapter. The question is how will the Arrow regain its popularity and its previews success over the past season? In a recent interview with the main character; Stephen Amell, who is playing Oliver Queen, he revealed that this season is gonna be more of a throw-down-the-gauntlet-year for them as they either going to do well or it is gonna be the last year for them.

He stated that if they are gonna find that magic formula, which is playing to their strength and just hard work, then the show could have gone on for a really long time like the other CW series; Supernatural running its 12^th season now, iTechpost report.

A lot of watchers already speculated that the character of Stephen is coming to a close  of revealing himself as the Green Arrow and his relationship with Felicity. The production team of the series has still one more shot to bring back and prove that the upcoming season is still worthy to watch.

Marc then revealed that the fifth installment of the Arrow is just a starting point of what could have to happen in the series, he denied that Arrow will be canceled after the season but instead it is just a jump start of what is coming next.

According to Inquisitr, Marc said "I think we tend to view at Season 5 as the end of a particular chapter," he then continued, "the show just turned out to be more successful than we anticipated and we're looking backward to move forwards." There will be a whole new villain, another dark version character of Arrow that was created by Oliver himself in the past. Amell stated that they are going to revisit that past and some stories that have not seen on Arrow.

Amell then declared his disappointed over last year's season as the show focused on a lull relationship rather than focusing on its action sequence. The 100^th episode of Arrow is going to be the crossover between CW's multiple series: The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow.
