Taylor Swift Taking Acting Classes for 'High School Musical 4' Opposite Zac Efron?

Taylor Swift is switching gears from music to acting as she has been taking acting classes for the past months.

The award-winning singer went on hiatus after her worldwide concert tour and only appeared lately at the Formula 1 US Grand Prix to perform. Now there are rumors that the only reason she is learning how to act is to be with Zac Efron for the next "High School Musical."

Radar Online reported on Taylor Swift's career change. The report mentioned that she might also be ready for a change of pace after two of her past romances have consequently failed. One in the arms of Calvin Harris and a short summer love with Tom Hiddleston.

There were rumors too that the "Shake It Off" singer has been eyeing Zac Efron after she broke up with Hiddleston. She said that they had a lot of fun time together and admits that she once told the "High School Musical" star that they should go out some time.

Meanwhile, Ecumenical News said that "High School Musical 4" was announced early this year but it was not confirmed if Zac Efron or Vanessa Hudgens would return to reprise their roles. A story arc was even developed regarding the next installment of the movie series saying that in HSM 4, Troy Bolton will return to East High to become the head coach of the Wildcats while Gabriela Montez will become the adviser of the Glee Club.

But if the "Blank Space" singer will play a role opposite Zac Efron then she could be playing Gabriela on HSM 4. Fans of the five-year love team of Zac and Vanessa may not be pleased of Taylor taking the role of Gabriela although Disney has not officially announced these changes.

Taylor Swift may or may not be in the next "High School Musical" but her acting classes will surely pay off for other roles. Who knows? She could play a role opposite Tom Hiddleston in the future.
