Avengers:Infinity War Filming Underway; Film may Introduce Mistress Death

"Avengers 3: Infinity War" is one of the highly-anticipated movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.  As the rumor mill goes to a frenzy, recent reports indicate that the Superhero mash-up film has its cameras rolling.

Updating his Twitter feed on November 19, photographer Atlanta Filming mentioned that the filming for the upcoming Avengers movie has been going on for two weeks already. With fans checking to make sure that it was not for another MCU movie (in this case, Black Panther), Filming clarified that the two movies are being worked on by different studios, and he just took pictures of them the previous week, according to Comic Book.

While scouting photos have surfaced, no announcement has been made by the production and the Russo Brothers, who are directing the two-part movie.  It seems that more would be revealed once photos from the set come out to confirm this.

Another interesting piece of information that came out of the rumor mill is the possible addition of Mistress Death on Infinity War. Comic Book Movie got its hands on a picture that maybe the depiction of Death (the character, not the action) for the movie, though the authenticity of the photo is still in question. In an update of the report, however, the website clarified that the image was for another film, Doctor Strange. It was an unused concept for one the zealots that appeared on the film.

In the comics, the titan Thanos is desperate to get the affection of Mistress Death, that he wanted to please her by removing a large amount of life in the universe. To do this, he collected the Infinity Gems, and placed them on the Infinity Gauntlet to use its powers for his cause.

The comics also shows an interesting love triangle involving Thanos, Death and Deadpool. In this love triangle, Deadpool shows infatuation with Death, and she reciprocates it, much to the dismay of Thanos. In his jealousy, he cursed Deadpool with immortality, so he won't be able to be with Death.
