Good news to all Nintendo game lovers, most especially to Mario Bros. fans! Nintendo has partnered with Universal Studios to add Nintendo-themed areas to three Universal Studios theme parks. Any time now, people could be racing in Mario Karts, jumping in and out of large green pipes and interacting with cute game creatures as they check out Nintendo attractions on a holiday.

Forbes said that collaborating with Universal Studios was part of Nintendo's plan to extend the usage of its intellectual property. Universal will be creating new awesome park attractions and rides at their Universal Studios Japan, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort.

Visitors will be able to feel like they have been placed inside the Nintendo games that they have played in years. It is also the plan of Nintendo and Universal Studios to make all the attractions accessible to everyone regardless of gaming experience and age.

No specific rides or Nintendo games were announced yet but a special video was released to give people an idea of what a Nintendo theme park would actually look like. The opening dates of these attractions will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, Morning News USA also reported the exciting news and said that once these are finished, "Mario will feel like he finally came home."  These were the words of Shigeru Miyamoto, video game creator of Nintendo.

Miyamoto said that they were amazed how Universal Studios was able to bring to life their games.  He also said that Nintendo and Universal are creating attractions according to what guests will actually experience. The Nintendo theme park area will be totally immersive and will make visitors more involved.

Aside from Mario Bros. games, Nintendo is also known for the classics like "Donkey Kong," "The Legend of Zelda," "Pokémon" games and "Animal Crossing."

This was actually not the first time a Nintendo-Universal Studios partnership was announced. Their team up was announced in May of this year but no exact date when these attractions would be open to the public was given.
